It's been a few days and nothing too exciting. I think the most interesting thing about this last week was my food choices...still trying to figure out what really works for me and every day it's different. I think the worst food choice I made was the cheese ball and crackers I had for lunch, followed up with a big bowl of ice cream! I paid for that combination the next day as I was in the bathroom the first 8 hours of the day.
Right now I really like clementines. Avocados are still good, but not all the time. Donuts at times are tasty. I think the only constant I've had is that everything salty seems EXTRA salty. I think I want something salty and then I taste it and it is overwhelming. It's annoying because a lot of the items seem like they would really hit the spot if just had less salt on it.
Anyways, I am 9 weeks 4 days today and can't wait for the first trimester to be over. I have been thinking that between the 2 miscarriages and this pregnancy that I have had a full term pregnancy consisting of only the first trimesters. It Sucks. I feel like I will never get out of this trimester and actually be able to move on to funner things like feeling the baby's movements and having a baby bump instead of just tummy chub. I have an appointment on the 26th, when I am 11weeks and I have decided to tell the kids after that if everything is well. I still don't want to tell any one else until Easter when I will be 13 weeks, so hopefully they can keep a secret!

226 days to go
So it's Saturday! Usually a relaxing day, but today we get to go shoot engagement photos up in Morgan. Should be fun, but part of me just wants to stay home and watch Moneyball.
So yesterday I found the first food that has completely just hit the spot with this pregnancy, ava, wait for it...cado. Yep, avacado! It was so good I literally was making mmm and awe noises as I ate it! It was amazing!
Also yesterday I found out that I have a thyroid issue. They had taken some blood at my last two doctors appointments and they discovered that i need to go on thyroid medication. I am a little bummed because I have to take the medication for the rest of my life, but for the most part I am relieved. I have been having a lot of symptoms and if this gets rids of those, it will totally be worth it! Especially the heart palpitations. I feel like my heart is completely out of control because it breaks into these heart palpitations every time I sit down to relax. Totally not relaxing!

228 days to go
So I am actually feeling pretty good today! Tuesday was an awful day. I felt nauseous all day and couldn't get a single thing done. Today I am back to work editing and getting this blog up off the ground. I also took my first baby belly picture.
Amazing how big you can get so early when its your seventh pregnancy! My little Lillie is already asking if I'm pregnant again. It's hard to know what to do with the kids. With the first miscarriage we never told them I was pregnant and kept the whole thing a secret from them. With the second one we told them at 12 weeks and then miscarried two weeks later. They took it better than I thought they would and I would love to tell them with this one, but it's still so early. It's not that I'm afraid I will miscarry, but I am afraid that they will tell the neighbors or family and I'm not quite ready to let other people in on my little secret yet! I hate getting all the opinions! Yes we are having a fifth baby. No we are not crazy. Yes I know I might miscarry again. Yes I appreciate my kids I already have and yes I feel like I can handle another one (whether you think I can or not)! So much fun! So for now, I guess The Hubs and I will just enjoy this little pumpkin seed on our own!

230 days to go
Monday I had my second ultrasound. We had our first at 6 weeks and it was still too early to see a baby or a heart rate so we were scheduled for a week later, I gave them 6 vials of blood, and we went home to wait. Since the moment I knew I was pregnant I have had a real calm and peaceful feeling about everything and so I didn't worry too much in the last week, but it sure was a relief when we went in and saw a baby measuring 6weeks 5days with a hear rate of 134! It was the most fantastic day and since then I have just known that everything is going to work out this time. That is when I decided to document this journey. Being that this will be our last I want to remember every detail, positive and negative. Anyway, here is our cute little ultrasound and the newest member of our family!
Let me introduce myself
Hi! My name is Emily and I am currently 7weeks 3days pregnant! I am so so happy to married to the best guy in the world for almost 12 years now. We have four beautiful children, Mila 8ys, Lillie 7yrs, Jack 5yrs, and Kate 2yrs. We have also been trying for this baby for the last two years. We have never had a problem getting pregnant and honestly thought that are trial concerning children was that we were going to end up with 10 kids since most of our pregnancy have been unplanned. Then we ended up pregnant in June of 2010. It ended in a miscarriage at 12weeks and completely through us for a loop. I wasn't sure if I wanted to try again, but after a few months we decided it was time. Unfortunately as it turns out we couldn't get pregnant. We tried for 6 months before we were successful only to have that pregnancy end in miscarriage when I was 14 weeks along. So now here we are again. 7 weeks prego and we have both decided that this will be our last try. We are hoping that this little baby will be the one we get to bring home and if not we have decided that we will just count our 4 beautiful blessings that we already have and be happy. The good news...I really feel like this one is going to stick! And so I have started this blog to document the journey of this pregnancy as long as it lasts and hopefully it will be 230 days til we bring home our baby! (well technically 228 days, I had the idea and then got really bad morning sickness which delayed the actual first post til 228, but you understand)
